These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sung Yup Ryu (doing business as Aresmode), a company registered in South Korea. By accessing or using the Aresmode mobile application, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.

Aresmode is an AI-powered fitness coaching mobile application that provides personalized workout prescriptions for athletes and everyday users. The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
We own or are licensed to use all intellectual property rights in the Services, including source code, content, trademarks, and logos. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content for commercial purposes without our express written permission.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that: (1) all registration information you submit is true and accurate; (2) you have the legal capacity to agree to these terms; (3) you are not a minor in your jurisdiction; (4) you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
You may be required to register to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any products at any time. Prices are subject to change.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All payments are processed in US dollars. You agree to provide accurate and current payment information.
Your subscription will automatically renew on a monthly basis unless cancelled. You consent to recurring charges without prior approval for each charge.
We offer a 7-day free trial to new users. At the end of the free trial, your account will be charged according to your chosen subscription ($4.99/month).
You may cancel your subscription through the App Store subscription settings on your Apple device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term.
We may change subscription fees from time to time and will communicate any price changes in accordance with applicable law.
All sales are final and no refund will be issued. For refund requests related to App Store purchases, please contact Apple directly.
You may not use the Services to:
You may submit workout logs, notes, and other content. By posting Contributions, you grant us a license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purposes of operating and improving the Services. You are solely responsible for your Contributions.
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on your device in accordance with these terms. You shall not decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the App.
When you use the App obtained from the Apple App Store, Apple's terms and policies apply in addition to these terms. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
We reserve the right to monitor the Services for violations, restrict access, remove content, and otherwise manage the Services to protect our rights and facilitate proper functioning.
We care about data privacy and security. Please review our Privacy Policy at https://aresmode.netlify.app/privacy. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy.
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any material on the Services infringes your copyright, please notify us at sr4258@columbia.edu.
These terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We reserve the right to deny access, terminate accounts, or remove content at any time and for any reason without notice.
We reserve the right to change or remove the contents of the Services at any time without notice. We are not liable for any downtime, interruptions, or modifications to the Services.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Korea.
The parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation for at least thirty (30) days before initiating arbitration. Any unresolved disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in South Korea.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SERVICES' CONTENT.
IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US DURING THE SIX (6) MONTH PERIOD PRIOR TO ANY CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your Contributions, or your breach of these terms.
We maintain certain data you transmit to the Services for managing performance. You are solely responsible for all data you transmit. We shall have no liability for any loss or corruption of such data.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. Our failure to exercise any right shall not operate as a waiver. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, it shall be severed without affecting the remaining provisions.
